Hi! I help organizations across India build confident, collaborative teams through improv-based training that blends play with proven L&D strategy. With 7+ years of improv experience and a background in HR Management, I design workshops that unlock creativity, strengthen communication, and create the psychological safety needed by teams to take risks and grow together.

I can facilitate fluently in both English and Hindi, so I can meet your team in the language they're most comfortable in and ensure everyone feels included in the learning.

The Bridge Between

Two Worlds That Rarely Meet

Where training development expertise joins forces with fun theatre games

The General Problems

01

Traditional training programs address symptoms, not root causes

02

Meetings go nowhere, presentations fall flat

03

Innovation stalls because people fear making mistakes

An Unusual Solution

With my HR background, 7+ years of improv experience, and an empathetic approach to coaching, I bridge the gap between what a dynamic work environment expects from its team and what makes people connect and work well together organically.

What if the answer isn't another PowerPoint deck, but learning to trust our instincts and build on each other's ideas?

My Approach

Where Expertise Meets Experience

01

Learning & Development Expertise

During my HR Management course at Lambton College in Toronto, I developed a passion for Learning & Development while designing training programs for companies as diverse as Aunt Anne's Pretzels, Nike, Apple, TD Bank, Scotiabank, and a few others. As I created comprehensive training strategies—from change management to team building to problem-solving—across different industries, the creative side of L&D work revealed itself to me, and I was hooked.

02

7+ Years of Improv Training

Then my improv training—across India and internationally at Second City, Bad Dog Theatre, Playground Improv, and Nautankibaaz—clicked into place: I suddenly realized that the principles of improv theatre can be greatly beneficial for teams that work together, since the art form is essentially based on listening to and uplifting your teammates. So I thought: what if I combined my passions for developing training programs and conducting improv workshops? That fusion became my life’s driving factor.

03

Psychological Safety Frameworks

Since Improv training prioritizes mental well-being and experimentation, it is structured around helping people be more present, listen to their partners, build together, and overcome mistakes gracefully, all via the means of fun theatre games that are bound to generate laughter.

04

Bilingual Facilitation

Facilitating workshops in both English and Hindi allows me to connect with teams across India's diverse professional landscape. Language accessibility is crucial for creating the psychological safety that improv-based learning requires—participants need to feel comfortable enough to experiment, fail, and grow. Whether working with English-speaking teams in tech hubs or Hindi-comfortable groups in traditional industries, I meet people where they are and create spaces where everyone can fully participate.

My approach combines L&D understanding with theatrical expertise, creating training that feels less like work and more like play, organically unlocking the capabilities your team already has.

The Power of Improvisation

Discover how improv transforms teams, backed by science and proven results

01

What is Improv?

Improv, short for improvisational theatre, is the art of creating scenes, stories, and characters entirely in the moment—no scripts, no planning, just spontaneous collaboration. It's built on core principles like 'Yes, And' (accepting and expanding on ideas), active listening, and making your partners look good.

While it originated on comedy stages, improv is fundamentally about trust, adaptability, and creative problem-solving. These aren't just performance skills—these are life skills that show up in every conversation, every meeting, and every unexpected moment.

When you strip away the stage setup, improv is essentially a structured way to practice being present, responsive, and collaborative under pressure.

That's why it works so powerfully beyond theatre: it trains the exact capabilities that make teams function and individuals thrive, all while developing confidence that lasts.

How Does Improv Solve Issues Faced by Teams?

Traditional training teaches compliance, not capability—it tells people what to do but doesn't rewire how they work together.

Improv, however, addresses the root causes faced by teams globally, by creating a safe space to practice the behaviors that high-performing teams need: truly listening instead of just waiting to speak, building on each others' contributions instead of competing, and treating uncertainty as an opportunity rather than a threat.

Teams struggle with the same patterns everywhere: communication breakdowns, meetings where ideas die in silence, fear of making mistakes that kills innovation, and inability to adapt when plans change.

Through structured improv exercises, teams experience what genuine collaboration feels like—not in theory, but in practice. The transformation isn't intellectual; it's experiential.

When people discover they can create something meaningful together without preparation, they stop seeing teammates as obstacles and start seeing them as creative partners worth trusting.

The Science Behind Improv

Research consistently validates what improvisers have known for decades: this training creates measurable changes in how people work and communicate.

Studies from institutions like Pepperdine University in California, show that improv significantly increases psychological safety—the foundation Google's Project Aristotle identified as the #1 predictor of team effectiveness.

The University of Kentucky found that 85% of participants reported enhanced communication and confidence after just one workshop, and a whopping 100% felt supported to think creatively and take risks.

Further, neuroscience research further reveals that improv exercises activate the brain's prefrontal cortex (decision-making) while reducing amygdala activity (fear response); literally rewiring how we respond to uncertainty.

This isn't motivational fluff—it's behavioral training backed by cognitive science. When teams practice accepting ideas, building collaboratively, and recovering from mistakes in low-stakes improv scenarios, those neural pathways strengthen and transfer directly to high-stakes workplace situations.

How a Session Actually Works

Forget trust falls and forced icebreakers. My sessions start with simple, low-risk exercises that build comfort gradually—think synchronized movements or passing imaginary objects that get people moving and laughing without feeling exposed.

As confidence grows, we progress to core improv principles: "Yes, And" exercises where teams practice building on each other's ideas, status work that reveals power dynamics in conversations, and character exercises that develop empathy and perspective-taking.

Every activity connects explicitly to workplace scenarios—we don't just play games, we debrief what happened, why it worked (or didn't), and how the same principle applies in your next meeting.

Sessions are highly interactive, with everyone participating at their comfort level. I create psychological safety through leading by example, celebrating mistakes as learning opportunities, and ensuring everyone feels included.

By the end, teams have practiced collaboration skills kinesthetically, not just conceptually—and that's what creates lasting behavioral change.

Real Results, Real Fast

The transformation often starts within the first 20 minutes. Skeptical participants begin engaging, quiet team members start contributing ideas, and the room's energy shifts from guarded to collaborative.

But the real results show up afterwards: teams report meetings that actually generate solutions, presentations that are delivered with genuine confidence, and conversations where people explore each other's ideas instead of only focusing on their own.

Organizations see measurable improvements in communication effectiveness (up to 78% in research studies), faster decision-making, and stronger cross-functional collaboration.

One client described it as 'unlocking capabilities we didn't know the team had.'

The reason it works quickly? We're not teaching new information—we're removing the barriers (fear of judgment, perfectionism, competitive mindset) that were blocking natural collaboration all along.

What Our Clients Say

"

I really loved Eshaan's workshop. It was so good! I've never done an improv workshop before, and still, I felt that two days were not long enough. I hope he comes back soon and conducts a one-month workshop where we have sessions every day. If it happens, I will be there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our improv workshops and training programs. Can't find what you're looking for? Feel free to reach out to us directly.

My facilitation creates psychological safety from minute one. We start with simple, low-risk exercises that build confidence gradually. Even the most skeptical participants typically engage within the first 20 minutes.

While many benefits show up immediately in team dynamics, we can also track specific metrics: presentation confidence scores, meeting participation rates, collaboration feedback, time-to-decision in leadership meetings, and employee engagement surveys.

Participation is always voluntary. I'm skilled at creating environments where even hesitant participants feel safe to engage at their comfort level. Plus, with how fun the games are, often the "I'll just watch" people become the most active by session two.

The principles learned become internalized life skills. Participants report lasting changes in communication and confidence months after training. Multi-session programs create the strongest lasting impact.

Completely flexible! Life happens, organizations change course; no worries. Let's discuss specific terms during our discovery call based on your program format.

Absolutely. Virtual improv workshops are highly effective and, in some ways, create even more psychological safety than in-person settings.

This isn't about forced fun. It's about practical skills development that happens through engaging methods. Even serious, traditional corporate cultures benefit from improved communication and adaptability – which is exactly what we're building.
